Terms and conditions
Last updated: 8 September 2026
Thriving Minds Collective Ltd (Company No. 16358249), trading as The Maidstone Psychologists (“we”, “us”, “our”), operates this website and the therapy services described on it. Using the site or booking a session means you accept the terms below. If any of it doesn’t sit right with you, please don’t use the site or book with us.
Purpose of this website
This site gives general information about the practice and what we offer. It isn’t a substitute for a proper assessment with one of our psychologists, and nothing on it should be read as clinical advice tailored to you. We try to keep it current but can’t promise uninterrupted availability, and content may change or be removed without notice.
Who we work with
Our services are for adults, 18 and over. We don’t treat children or young people, and if you’re enquiring for someone under that age, we’ll point you towards NHS or specialist services instead.
Not a crisis or emergency service
What we offer is planned, weekly online therapy, not crisis support. If you’re in immediate danger or having a mental health emergency, please contact your GP, call 999, or reach the Samaritans on 116 123.
The mechanics of a session
Sessions are 50 minutes, delivered by secure video with an HCPC-registered clinical psychologist, currently priced at £130 and payable in advance by bank transfer or card. There’s no free introductory session. Cancelling or rearranging needs at least 48 hours’ notice; less than that, and the full fee may still apply, since the time was reserved specifically for you.
You’re responsible for arranging a private, quiet space and a reliable connection for your sessions, and for being accurate with your psychologist about your circumstances so they can support you properly.
Regulatory standing of our clinicians
Every psychologist we work with is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and follows its standards of conduct, performance and ethics. Anyone’s registration can be checked directly on the HCPC register at hcpc-uk.org.
Rights over site content
Everything on this website, text, images and design, belongs to us or to whoever has licensed it to us, and is protected by copyright. You’re welcome to view and share pages for your own personal use, but copying, republishing or reusing the content commercially needs our agreement first.
Where our responsibility sits
Information on this site is for general guidance only, not a replacement for advice from your own psychologist or GP. So far as the law allows, we’re not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of the site, and any liability connected with the therapy service is capped at the fees paid for the sessions in question. Nothing here limits liability where the law doesn’t permit it, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
Third-party links
Any links to outside websites are there for convenience. We don’t control or take responsibility for what’s on them, and a link isn’t an endorsement.
Governing law
England and Wales law governs these terms, and disputes about them or about your use of this site fall to the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, publishing any revision here. Continuing to use the site or our services after a change means you’ve accepted the update.
Questions on these terms can be sent to [email protected].
